Produced by the Centre for Evidence Based Mental Health as part of the National electronic Library for Mental Health. This site was produced as part of the NHS Direct Online Theme Month for Depression, which aimed to draw public attention to the fact that one in five people will suffer from a form of depression at some point in their life. It contains a number of user-friendly sections, which include a comprehensive guide to depression, evidence based treatment summaries, interactive tools for diagnosis, online discussion groups and lifestyle guidance

Food and Mood Project
Started in 1998 with a Mind Millennium Award. Its purpose is to empower individuals to explore the relationship between diet, nutrition and mental and emotional health. Information is shared via talks and workshops, a newsletter and on-line support group.

National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux
Citizens Advice Bureaux help solve various problems, including debt and consumer issues, benefits, housing, legal matters, employment, and immigration. Advisers can help fill out forms, write letters, negotiate with creditors and represent clients at court or tribunal. Includes adviceguide website for on-line CAB information.

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists

Accredits therapists who practice Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) and publishes a directory of all its accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists, which can be obtained for a small fee by any member of the public.
